Surgery Tomorrow
Hello friends!
Tomorrow I head into surgery with--fingers crossed--no hitches this time. I am incredibly grateful for all of the support I have received during this whole messy process, and a major step is going to be undertaken tomorrow, bright and early. There have been so many bloons during this journey; from the ease with which we found a donor to the amazing absence of the need for dialysis. Many of those boons have been made possible by your ongoing support and love and I thank you, once again, from the bottom of my heart.
The next part of the journey is still going to be difficult. I am looking at months of recovery time and because of that I am still looking for many forms of support: from helping me with meals, rides to the hospital, or visits from friends. All forms of help are inordinately impactful to me and I cannot thank you enough. With all of the support I have and will receive I know that recovery will be as seamlessly as possible and I will continue to lead the rich life I have led until now. Thank you, wish me luck, and I will see you on the other side!
