Please join us for an evening of drinks, food and music to benefit Brooklyn Aikikai!

Proceeds from this year's Spring Fundraiser will go directly to the dojo's scholarship fund. Very recently, two students received full scholarships to our children's program and two youths from Humanities Prep High School will be joining our adult program on scholarship. As with all Aikido students, these participants will learn how to become more centered in their lives, allowing a sense of calm to penetrate their actions and thoughts. Throughout the year, we will also help members attend trainings at various other dojos to enhance their abilities and foster a sense of unity. Our scholarship fund helps to make all of this possible.

With your support we can look forward to another year of strong practice and continued growth for the dojo and its surrounding community.

Time: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Halyards, 3rd Ave/6th St. in Gowanus, Brooklyn (next door to the dojo)

Admission tickets: $20 each (includes 1 complimentary drink & hors d'oeuvres)

Raffle tickets: $3 for 1; $10 for 4

Raffle prizes include

• a restaurant gift certificate
• acupressure treatment
• a hand knit hat and scarf
• Dogfish Head handcrafted ales
• a bottle of single malt scotch
• a handcrafted ceramic birdfeeder

The evening promises to be a fun one in this fantastic venue with good friends, music, and delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks. You will also have the opportunity to support the dojo by purchasing raffle tickets.

Purchasing an admission ticket online will get your name(s) put on the guest list at the door. Purchasing raffle tickets here will get your name put on tickets that will go into the drawing on the night of the event. You do not need to be present in order to win a raffle.
